The package is a professional system based on Sundance SMT417 and DSP110 hardware providing 64bits, 66MHz connection to host PC and offers two TI DSPs and a Xilinx VP50 FPGA. The software package also includes a two processor Diamond DSP and one processor Diamond FPGA software from 3L. This allows a complete multi DSP/FPGA application to be built with multi-tasking on both the DSPs and the FPGA. With the DSP110 carrier there is room for future expansion through adding another PMC module or 2 of Sundance TIMs from a wide range of choices.

Thanks to highly optimized PCI drivers and tools for Windows platforms (or for Linux platforms), any generated data on the DSPs or the FPGA can easily be transferred to the host PC at lightening speed and can be displayed on the host in real-time.

The SMT6045 and PARS are compatible with Simulink and its integration is a fundamental and powerful tool for engineering and scientific work in model based and system-level designs.

Modularity, flexibility and scalability are design features that keep becoming more important with the increasing complexity of real-time embedded systems. Moreover, the need to build and simulate systems building blocks fast is essential if developers are to have more time to focusing on research and algorithm designs and proof of concepts. Sundance can offer both the above design features with its Lego system design and the Simulink compatible tools for VHDL and DSP code generation.
