Virtex6 FPGA PMC / XMC / Standalone

This is  an XMC card with optional PMC interface with PCI-X, as shown in the block diagram. The board includes a Virtex-6 FPGA and a Freescale MPC8548E which acts as the PCIe / PCI-X interface to the host. The P4 connector provides additional 64 LVTTL or 32 LVDS GPIOs. Although in majority of cases the MPC device would simply act as a host interface for the Virtex6 and will not be programmed or directly used by the application but it does have a powerful 1GHz PPC which can easily be taken advantage of as a floating point processing resource.
