These may be at different stages of development and if in the earlier stages then it may be possible to make changes to the specification to more closely suit your requirements. The “in design” label will change to an image of the hardware generate by the PCB layout software when the design is almost complete. Some “in design” entries may just show the idea to generate marketing feedback.
