The cutting-edge Versal™ based VerSOM module is a generic SOM with an AMD Versal ™ AI Edge Series Gen 2, Prime Series Gen 2, or Premium Series Gen 2 device. VerSOM1 module comes with an XC2VE3858-2MSISSVA2112 Versal ™ device. VerSOM1 can be used on Sundance DSP’s SE2000 an Versal-VPX SOM carrier and other platforms like PCIe and PCIe104. It is suitable for high-speed data processing, analysis, and AI inferencing and training and is designed for defense, aerospace, and research applications.
The module comes with 2x 1GB of 16-bit-wide DDR5 attached to the high-speed programmable network on chip (NoC) dedicated to the PS (2GB total) and 6x 1GB of DDR5 with 96-bit width attached to the NoC dedicated to the PL and Versal ™ AI Engines (6GB total). Voltages for the core voltage and transceiver voltages are supplied via DC-DC converters on the module.
